This listing is for one Elephant Leather Money Belt, handmade by the local artist in Thailand using full grain elephant leather. Please note the leather hides used to product these belts come from legal sources and not from endangered or threatened animals. Each skin is hand tanned using a special process with makes it very durable. The leather is semi hard and has the feel of high quality suede but unlike suede it has the unique pattern of elephant leather. If you really want to make a fashion statement this will do it, the pattern will vary due to nature of the skin. A great thing about this belt is that it is also a money belt. The inside of the belt features a 15" hidden zipped compartment for keeping your cash safe. This belt comes complete with a nickel silver belt buckle and is about 50" in length and 1 3/8" wide. The belt will fit a waist from 32 to 46 inches and may be cut down using household scissors. Like already stated elephant leather is very soft and easy to work with. You may also cut down this belt 13" without affecting the money belt compartment and the buckle can be removed and replace with your favorite buckle.
