They also want the return of the satellite based TV channel D-Station, which has been closed during the political turmoil. Future rallys are planned for the provinces including Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, Udon Thani and Nonthaburi. Bangkok police chief Lt-Gen Worapong Chewpreecha has confirmed that the rally is now allowed under the law as the State of Emergency has been lifted. He did warn the protesters to be peaceful and not break the law while attending the rally. It is hoped the demonstration is peaceful and no further violence or bloodshed takes place.
