Yellow Shirt Protesters Take Over Bangkok’s Airports

Anti government yellow shirt protesters sits in front of the departure terminal at Suvarnabhumi airport, Bangkok in the early hours of Wednesday Nov. 26, 2008. All flights at Suvarnabhumi International Airport were temporarily suspended. Hundreds of demonstrators, some masked and armed with metal rods broke through police lines and into the passenger terminal. The anti government protesters were demanding the resignation of Thailand’s Prime Minister, Somchai Wongsawat.
